Meharangarh Fort

The most magnificent fort in Jodhpur is the Mehrangarh Fort. It is situated on a 150m high hill. Rao Jodha, the then chief of Rathore clan, constructed it in 1459. Jaswant Thada

Jaswant Thada lies to the left of the Mehrangarh fort complex. It is a royal cenotaph made up of white marble which is more commonly known as the Taj Mahal of Mewar It was built to commemorate Maharaja Jaswant Singh. So never miss this place on your sightseeing list in Jodhpur.

Umaid Bhawan Palace

One of the fascinating palaces of Jodhpur is the Umaid Bhawan palace. Maharaja Umaid Singh constructed it in 20th century. A part of the palace has now been converted into a seven star hotel and a museum. Umaid Bhawan Palace is the largest private residence in the world

Machiya  Park

Clock Tower (Ghanta Ghar)

Step Well Area

Toorj’s Step Well also popularly known as Toorji Ka Jhalra is situated in Jodhpur of Rajasthan.  Rajasthan is popular for Step wells, but each and every well has its own uniqueness.  This Step Well was established in 1740s, which was constructed by the consort (Queen ) of Maharaja Abhay Singh.  There is no entry fee for the Step well to enter and no stipulated time to visit.  It is opened for 24*7 so one can happily visit and can admire the beauty of Toorji Ka Jhalra.
